SyncSwitch V.3 can handle both media and session calls efficiently. Subscription capacity of SyncSwitch V.3 shows the session calls capacity of the switch. For knowing about media calls capacity of the switch we need to know the voice codec of running calls, i.e. if running calls voice code is G729/G723 then media and session calls capacity ratio is 1:8, means if SyncSwitch capacity is 8 channels then 8 session calls will run concurrently whereas only 1 media call will run. On the other hand, if running calls voice codec is ulaw/alaw then media and session calls capacity ratio is 1:24, meaning if SyncSwitch capacity is 24 channels then 24 session calls will run concurrently whereas only 1 media call will run.
