How to manage my subscribed SBOs from MyPortal Account?

Managing SBO multipath V.4 is now super-easy, very less time consuming and hassle-free. You can do everything by yourself with a few clicks. You need to prepare an SBO PC and all other things can be done from your portal account in MyPortal

We assume you have already installed SBO Multipath V.4 into your PC. After login, the following screen will appear from where you can collect MAC address and ethernet interface name or NIC.

Now, go to your account in MyPortal and let’s configure your subscribed SBO.

Following are the steps you need to follow to configure an SBO -

Step 1:

  • Go to the SBO tab of your MyPortal menu option.
  • There you will see few information about the subscribed SBO including - name, subscription date, expiry date, channel limit, license status, state etc.
  • Each subscribed SBO comes with an IP range, Subnet mask and Default Gateway. You will be needing these while configuring Gateways. Click on the down arrow icon/expand icon on the right side of each subscribed SBO. It will reveal these information along with the purchase and expiration date of the package.

Here, you will find a Reload SBO button as well. Whenever there are any changes in the settings of this SBO like adding gateway, gateway update or delete, SBO must be reloaded. This button will only be active when the state of this SBO is Online. You will find the state option beside the license status. The state will show as Online when the SBO PC is connected to the internet and the license is active. It will show Offline, in case there is no internet connection to the SBO PC or the license is expired.

Step 2:

  • From the 3 icons on the right side of each SBO, this time click on the edit icon in the middle.

Step 3:

  • A form will appear like below. You can change SBO Name from here as per your necessity. In Mac Address and Local NIC boxes, you will see some made-up data. You will need to change these with MAC and NIC you have previously got after installing SBO. For NIC, please add :0 or :1 after writing your NIC (eg: enp2s0:1)

  • There are some auto-populated boxes, these will remain as it is.

Step 4:

  • After inserting MAC and NIC click on the Submit button.

Step 5:

  • Next, add Gateway under this SBO. To do this click on the settings icon on the right side of each SBO.

  • You will be redirected to a page like below. At the bottom right corner of this page, there is a PLUS icon inside a circle. Click on this button.

  • After clicking the Plus icon, another form will appear. You will have to insert information of your Gateway as well as your Switch from where you will receive calls.

Step 6:

  • Fill up the form with appropriate information. Then click on Submit.

Now, go to the SBO tab from the MyPortal menu option. Click on the down arrow icon to reveal the SBO Reload button. Click on the button and reload SBO.

Congratulations! Your SBO configuration is complete.
