How to change or reset password from MyPortal?

Changing passwords becomes necessary in different circumstances. You can reset your password if you forget it or for security reasons. Whatever the cause, you can do it very easily from your MyPortal account. This article will help you to go through the step-by-step process. Password change option is only available when logged in from a web browser on computer. GetSBO app or mobile browser does not support password change option.

At first, please log into your MyPortal account from any web browser. You will find a blue circle containing the first letter of your name on the top right corner of the screen. Or if you have uploaded your photo to your MyPortal account, here you will see the photo. Click on that.

It will open a small box containing your name, email address and logout button. On top of this, you will find CHANGE within the circle. Click on this.

This will redirect you to your MyAccount page. Here, you will find your account information. On the top left corner, there is a Menu bar. Click on this.

This will open some menu options. Select Security option from the drop-down list.

Here, you will find information on your last password change date and its accurate time. Click on > icon on the right side of the box.

You will be asked to provide your Current Password first. Then enter a new password and retype again. Choose a strong password that you have not already used with this account. Please click on UPDATE button when all fields are filled up correctly.
