What functions can be performed for SyncSwitch in MyPortal?

We assume you already have subscribed to a SyncSwitch package from our store. Now it becomes available in the SyncSwitch tab of the Menu bar. Click on the tab. It will redirect to a page like below. You will see all your subscribed SyncSwitches on that page. Now questions may arise, what do product menu icons actually mean and what can be done with these icons? This article will answer these questions.

For every switch, you will be given an URL/link. Besides, here you will also find information like SIP address, expiry date, session concurrency, license status and state of each switch. Online state means everything is running well and the switch is ready to take calls. But Offline can be shown if the license is not active or there is any technical issue in the server or if the server is down.

(The link will take you to your switch configuration panel. There you will complete the configuration process and can monitor your switch performance. We have a SyncSwitch Quickstart Guide. Follow the guideline if you feel the necessity.)

Along with this information, on the right side of each SyncSwitch, there are 3 icons. Multiple tasks can be performed with these options.

The first icon is a drop-down arrow inside an orange circle. If you click on this, the icon inverts and it reveals package purchase details like - purchase date, expire date and billing date.

The next icon is a Reload icon inside a red circle. As the name implies, the purpose of this icon is to reload or restart the SyncSwitch. So, if there is any necessity to restart the SyncSwitch, click on this button. A warning message will pop up after clicking this button as all active calls, if any will be dropped while reloading.

Click on the RELOAD button if you want to continue.

Next one is a blue gear icon. With this option, you can update the package, see the previous history as well as all transactions related to this SyncSwitch. Click on the gear icon. You will be redirected to a product detail page. On top of the page, there are 3 options - DETAILS, HISTORY and TRANSACTIONS.


The first tab is DETAILS. After clicking the gear icon, you will be directed to this page. Here, detailed information of this specific product as well as the package is displayed.

At the bottom of the page, there are 2 buttons, DEACTIVATE and MIGRATE. If you want to deactivate your package, click on the DEACTIVATE button. You will need to follow some steps to completely deactivate the package. And if you want to upgrade or downgrade your current package, click on the MIGRATE button. You will be given options to choose and complete the migration process. We have guides for Deactivation and Migration of SyncSwitch packages. Please go through the writings if you feel the necessity. If you make any changes, the active product and package details will be shown in the Product Details and Purchased Package boxes.


There is another tab named HISTORY besides the DETAILS tab. From MyPortal users can subscribe to any product that is suitable to them as well as can manage and update their subscribed product. All of these activities are kept recorded under this HISTORY tab of respective packages.

Click on HISTORY. This will lead you to a page from where you can see your active plan as well as any previous plans if there has been any change from the first subscription date.

The Active Plan box shows the currently running package with its name, subscription date and time, capacity, validity and status.

The Previous Plans box shows the history of this SyncSwitch. All changes from the upgrade, downgrade or reactivation will be listed here. The status of these packages will show as Inactive.


The last tab is TRANSACTIONS. Click on this. All financial transactions will be listed here. From this page, you will get a clear picture of what changes - like renewal, refund etc had occurred for this SyncSwitch from the initial subscription date to the current date.

Here, you can see the invoice number, date, type of the activities and amount. With this feature, transactions remain transparent in MyPortal.
