What is the difference between shared and dedicated SyncSwitch?

SyncSwitch V.3 has come up with the facility to use shared IP for a Softswitch. The difference between shared and dedicated SyncSwitch is the difference between usable IP, i.e. dedicated SyncSwitch comes up with one dedicated real/public IP which is owned by a single user on the other hand shared SyncSwitch also comes with a real/public IP but same real/public IP can be used by multiple user at a time. Among shared SyncSwitches, usable IP is the same but the SIP port is different.
